Clare Halifax

Clare is known for her screen prints of iconic cityscapes and intricately detailed botanic prints

Clare graduated from Loughborough University with a BA hons in Printed Textile Design. This was followed by an MA in Multi Disciplinary Printmaking from UWE which saw her work develop into Limited Edition Prints. Within Clare’s career development she has expanded her artist portfolio from original screen prints to also include original drawings and etchings. Focusing on cityscapes, landscapes, botanicals and animals. Within each piece of work, the quality of drawing, design, pattern, composition and colour, play an important part, adding depth and decoration to create a unique overall effect of intrinsic detail identifiable to the artist. Clients have included V&A Museum, ‘Coast’ Magazine, Elle Decoration, Enki Magazine, Liberty’s, Tate Online, Farrow & Ball, Huxleys Restaurant and the Berkley Group. Clare currently resides in London where she continues to be influenced by her everyday environment.
