Palmehuset
Palmehuset is a linocut inspired by the Palmhouse in Copenhagen
‘Palmehuset’ is a linocut inspired by the Palmhouse in Copenhagen, Denmark. This linocut is printed using the reduction technique: multiple layers of colour are each cut and printed from the same block. Once the print is finished, and so much has been cut away for each layer, the block can have very little lino remaining. Reduction prints are by their nature limited editions, and this is an edition of ten prints.
Palmehuset was selected for the prestigious print event, Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair in 2024.
Linocut, 27 x 30.5 cm from an edition of 10
