Federico Baca

Federico Baca was born in Jujuy, a town in North Argentina at the foothills of the Andes. Following studies in Buenos Aires, he travelled extensively in India, Nepal and the Far East. Now settled in the Suffolk countryside, he is inspired by nature and diverse artists such as Hundertwasser, Xul Solar, Anthony Gormley, Italo Calvino and Svankmajer. These inspirations inform his work which hopes to capture a sense of interconnectedness, community and spirituality. He is a member of East London Printmakers, Printmakers Council, Suffolk Open Studios and Southbank Printmakers.
